Gift will establish
state-of-the-art
emergency care center

Last year 65,000 children received emergency care at Children’s Memorial in facilities built for half that number. Thanks to a $16 million commitment by The Kenneth and Anne Griffin Foundation, injured and ill children will benefit from enhanced facilities at The Kenneth and Anne Griffin Emergency Care Center at our new facility, Ann & Robert H. Split liver transplant
saves two young lives

Two teams of Children’s Memorial surgeons simultaneously transplanted two boys with parts of the same donor liver in the first split liver transplant on separate patients performed at the hospital.
