Children's Community Physicians Association (CCPA) is a pediatric-focused independent physician association (IPA). Led by a member-elected, all pediatrician board of directors, CCPA members are board-certified (or board-eligible) pediatricians and pediatric specialists affiliated with Children's Memorial Hospital.

Covering the greater Chicago metropolitan area and northwest Indiana, CCPA physicians are dedicated to excellence in quality and service, have exceptional skills in diagnosing and treating patients, and are recognized for unwavering commitment to outstanding customer service.

Many of the member practices of CCPA have flourished for several generations and are highly regarded within the greater metropolitan Chicago area medical community.

What are CCPA's guiding principles?

Since 1995, four guiding principles have provided a strong foundation and quality standards that support expansion. At their core, these principles reflect an organization that is:

  • Self-governed. Governed by physicians, CCPA operates as an independent organization that is led and supported by its own board of directors.
  • Affiliated yet independent. CCPA is affiliated with Children's Memorial Hospital, but members often use local community hospitals for primary and secondary care.

  • Empowering members with preferred access. CCPA members gain access to a variety of pediatric specialists, suburban locations and ancillary services offered through the Children's Memorial Health System.
  • Strengthening member relationships with managed care payers and healthcare vendors. As a prominent alliance of pediatric providers, CCPA positions itself to continuously improve its leverage with managed care payers and vendors of physician practice services.

As CCPA continues to experience abounding growth, these principles serve as undeniable contributors to the organization's success.
