    Pediatric intensive care units prepare for wave of H1N1 patients

    October 15, 2009 - Sometimes flu patients need assistance breathing with a ventilator and in the worse cases a machine called extracorporeal membrane oxygenation (ECMO) is needed. In this NBC Nightly News segment, the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit at Children's Memorial is featured.
