Lincoln Park High School
In 1999, a group of community leaders determined that the first project
of the community-wide forum would focus on improving the educational
experience for students at Lincoln Park High School. To this end, five
subcommittees were launched, each with its own goals and objectives.
The tutoring subcommittee, jobs resources subcommittee, conflict
resolution subcommittee, study hall subcommittee, and external affairs
subcommittee each worked with the administration and teachers at
Lincoln Park High School over the next two years to implement programs
and strategies to address the needs of the students.
The local school council at Lincoln Park High School has committed to continuing the programs created by the forum. Find the 2002 Annual Report here (pdf file).
