Objectives: 

At the conclusion of this activity the participants will be able to:

  • Describe clinical assessments and stabilization interventions for critically ill children that are consistent with current guidelines and research
  • Discuss current emergency medical management of pediatric-specific disease processes
  • Describe anatomical, physiological, psychosocial and developmental aspects unique to pediatric emergency healthcare.

  • Pre-approved - Children's Memorial employees with pre-approved status from Clinical and Organizational Development (Contact Transport Team for more information on pre-approval.)

Continuing education credits available: INA CNE hours will be provided for this event by Children's Memorial Hospital, an approved provider for continuing education by the INA, an accredited approver by the ANCC Commission on Accreditation. 

Continuing Education will also be offered for EMT-B, EMT-P, ECRN and TNS.
