The Department of Surgery at Children's Memorial Hospital provides a full range of surgical services ranging from routine appendectomies and tonsillectomies to complex organ transplantations and surgeries for congenital heart defects. The department is also the pediatric surgery training arm of Northwestern University's Feinberg School of Medicine, providing residency training in each of its ten divisions.
