The Division of Pediatric Otolaryngology provides medical and surgical treatment for children with disorders of the head and neck, particularly the ears, nose and throat.

Having performed more than 1,000 implantations since 1991, our Cochlear Implant Program has grown to be one of the largest pediatric implant programs in the world. Pediatric surgeons also specialize in laryngology, bronchial esophogology. These doctors treat breathing and swallowing disorders as well as congenital or acquired problems of the larynx, trachea, bronchi, and esophagus. They also treat children with recurrent croup, cough, pneumonia, stridor, hoarseness, and other voice problems. They can provide carbon dioxide laser therapy for appropriate airway problems as well as foreign body removal.
