Fractured (broken) bones are very common injuries in the pediatric population. Whether these injuries are caused by sports or fall it is important for the fracture bone or bones to be treated properly.  In many cases this will require some type of casting or splinting to immobilze the bone to allow healing to begin.  In some cases fracture bones may be displaced requiring surgery to realign the bones for proper healing.  Choose from the list below to learn more about different types of fractures.
