What is an advanced practice nurse?

Advanced practice nurses (APNs) are registered nurses with advanced clinical education, knowledge, skills and scope of practice.

They coordinate your child's care with your child's main doctors.

They also see your child everyday, may examine your child, talk with you about your child's care and answer your questions.
