Children and adolescents with all forms of non-malignant (not cancerous) blood disorders, including conditions such as anemias, bleeding problems, blood clots, platelet disorders and red and white blood cell disorders, are treated through by physicians and staff members in the hematology service.
The comprehensive hemophilia and thrombophilia program is a federally designated regional hemophilia treatment center that provides comprehensive services to children with bleeding and thrombotic (clotting) disorders.
