Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) Classes
We are pleased to offer CPR courses this year by an American Heart Association (AHA) instructor. The courses are open to all physicians and staff.
Three options to become CPR certified will be available:
- Traditional AHA class that normally takes three hours to complete. This class will include a classroom portion, skills stations, and testing. Classes are listed below.
- The AHA now provides an alternative course for healthcare providers (HCP) and office staff (Heartsaver) to receive CPR certification. Through new eLearning online courses, participants can now access courses at their own convenience and time. The HCP course requires an exam online while the Heartsaver course does not. After the completion of both courses (HCP or Heartsaver) an online certification must be printed out before attending an hour-long skills station in order to receive your CPR certification. The hour-long skills station classes will also be offered during the classes listed below.
- CPR certification can also be achieved by completing the online portion as explained in option 2, followed by a scheduled skills station class at individual offices. For more information on this option, please contact Erin Mullaghy at 773.975.8706.
